Getting a great job is hard these days, but sometimes, you might get a little guidance from the stars. Astrologers around the world believe that your star sign can boost or decrease your chances of getting a job in a specific field of choice.

If you’re a believer in astrology, you might want to check out what your star sign suggests as a career path. It might surprise you…and make more sense than you think.

Aries

Bold, brave, and incredibly competitive, going to work with an Aries can worry certain other signs. Aries signs tend to want jobs that are either hyper-competitive, physical, or filled with danger and excitement.

Because of Aries’s tendency towards “warrior” thinking, they tend to enjoy anything that scores high in demands. An Aries career is not for the faint of heart. If it’s a high-pressure, high-adrenaline challenge, Aries will love it.

For Aries who want a more physical job, firefighting, professional sports, and military careers tend to work best for them. If you’re a more cerebral Aries, you should aim high. Being a politician, a lawyer, a surgeon, or a Wall Street professional would behoove you.

Capricorn

Capricorns are, if nothing else, the backbone to many people. Often mistaken for being a bit boring, the truth is that you can’t get a more reliable, trustworthy, and intelligent worker than a Capricorn.

Known for being incredibly detail-oriented and avoiding the spotlight, most Capricorn-oriented jobs are well-paid because they require focus and detail orientation. Capricorns are excellent architects, craftspeople, accountants, IT specialists, and computer programmers.

Oh, and because they’re great communicators, you can expect your friendly Sea Goats to be great managers, CEOs, and teachers, too.

Taurus

If there is one thing that Tauruses love, it’s stability. This is a star sign that craves a 9 to 5 the way that most people crave ice cream. And yet, they have a low-key creative streak that tends to work alongside their “salt of the earth” nature.

Tauruses are fans of the great outdoors, and it’s quite likely they’ll want to work with their hands. Physical jobs that match that need include park rangers, construction workers, gardeners, farmers, cowboys, and florists. Their love for luxury and creativity, though, can make them excellent chefs.

If you’re a more “office-bound” Bull, you’ll do well anywhere that gives you a good wage and enough time to stretch your legs. Fashion design, marketing, accounting, and even legal work can all work well for a typical Taurus.

Gemini

Geminis are one of the most social star signs you’ll ever meet. As their star sign suggests, they don’t like to be alone. They like to team up, chat with others, and also have fun while they work. Their top-tier communication skills make them serious assets in any workplace.

While most star signs have some kind of knack for sales, geminis tend to take it to the next level. It’s not unusual for the Twins to show up and rock an office’s sales chart. This star sign is bold enough to handle sales, teaching, media, academia, and anything that requires the gift of gab.

When it comes to physical labor, geminis generally need to be in social scenes. They may be dancers, personal trainers, cheer captains, or professional sports players. Anything that gets them to talk, talk, talk will work with them.

Cancer

Cancer tends to be a star sign associated with a “tough exterior, loving interior” type of person. While they often initially come off as gruff, this water sign tends to be one of the more nurturing star signs out there. So, to many people’s surprise, they tend to work in the healthcare industry.

Many Cancer signs gravitate toward roles that let them care for people in a setting where they don’t have to worry about being hurt. Pediatric nursing, childcare, parenting coaches, and social workers might have a Crab streak in them. Like other water signs, art careers also work well with them too.

If a Cancer sign wants to get a more physical job, you might see them work as regular ER nurses, EMTs, and physical therapists. In some cases, they may also work in police departments where crisis counselors are needed.

Aquarius

Aquarians are famously empathetic, driven to make the world a better place. Deeply creative and intuitive, the Water Bearers of our society are often the ones who make the most impact in their local communities.

Their excellent organizational skills and passion for social betterment make them popular picks for nonprofit management, volunteer organizations, educators, and politicians. Their visionary behavior also makes them great in tech startups, academia, and anything that involves science for the better of mankind.

In terms of physical labor, Aquarians tend to be suited for gardening, wildlife care, and furniture crafting. They may also be talented at massage therapy and spa services.

Leo

Few, if any, signs are as attention-loving as Leo. Leos are not happy unless they are in the spotlight, surrounded by luxury items, and applauded for their excellent selves. As a result, they tend to be the people you read about in news headlines.

Models, actors, singers, dancers, and content creators all have a higher likelihood of being a Leo. They adore anything that involves them being applauded. With that said, they can also be a bit more serious if need be. Getting into politics or meteorology is a possibility with this star sign too.

If you’re looking for physical jobs as a Leo, going into professional sports, stunt driving, or being a construction worker might work well. Other less entertainment-oriented jobs for Leos include sales, marketing, and communications.

Virgo

Virgo, also known as the Virgin, tends to be a sign associated with fiery passions—but an unusual level of curiosity and attention to detail. Being a Virgo often means you’ve got an innate intellectual streak that gets stronger year after year.

Unsurprisingly, Virgos tend to do well in anything even remotely academic. From writing to research facilities to web development, Virgos tend to be the people employers go to when they want interesting theories and solutions to complex problems. They just love to think!

For the most part, Virgos tend to stick to things that keep them learning. So, while you might see plenty of data analysts, business analysts, and finance workers, you won’t see too many Virgos that work with their hands.

Libra

With their symbol of the scale, is it any shock that Libras tend to take a very balanced look at life? Libras are famous for their diplomacy, negotiation skills, and natural sophistication. Needless to say, they’re seen wherever good communication skills and intelligence are needed.

Office jobs are a natural pairing for Libras. They do well in areas like law, healthcare, mental health assistance, insurance, and collections. If they choose to go into law enforcement, they’re often top-level detectives and FBI interrogators.

When they’re working physical jobs, they tend to be the ones who repair difficult machinery—often due to their love of detailed work. They’re also excellent automobile service writers and brilliant military tacticians.

Scorpio

Scorpios can be the best coworkers you ever had, or the worst nightmare you’ve ever dealt with in an office. The reason why? They tend to be highly intuitive, passionate, and at times, obsessive about their work. In some cases, they may need a voice of reason to calm them down and keep them on task.

Because they tend to be deeply in touch with their emotions, Scorpios excel in “woo woo” fields. They may use their natural psychic talents as tarot readers, mediums, and spiritual leaders. They also can be great in the arts or as personal trainers.

When they’re not deep-diving into spirituality, Scorpios are also noted for being “scary smart.” They tend to be great financiers, nuclear physicists, college professors, and professional hackers. Seriously. Do not get on a Scorpio’s bad side. That intelligence can be used for good or evil!

Pisces

Famously emotional, empathetic, and psychic, Pisces star signs are about as caring as you can humanly get. As the last star sign in the traditional order, Pisces tends to pick up a little bit of every other sign out there. This makes them natural jacks of all trades.

Sensitive as can be, Pisces signs are uniquely qualified to work in industries like tarot readings, intuitive psychic services, spiritual guides, and anything that has to do with intuition. Their creative talents are also hard to match, making fields like writing and graphic design ideal choices.

If you go for a more mundane job, Pisces tend to be good choices for social work, yoga instruction, and veterinarians. If you put them in law enforcement, this star sign is often lauded for having an “uncanny ability” to know exactly where the bad guys are!

Sagittarius

Are you in need of a fearless, intrepid employee who’s not upset about globetrotting, invention, and trying new things? Congrats. You need to hire a Sagittarius! This December-January sign is fiery, fun, and all about pushing the limits to what life can be.

Sagittarius signs are wildly inventive and curious people. That’s why they work well at tech startups, as entrepreneurs, as music producers, and as travel bloggers. They’re all about the “go, go, go” to the next new hot thing.

In an ideal world for physically active Sagittarius people, there’d be a streak of excitement to every job they do. They enjoy thrills like climbing tall buildings, working on cellphone towers, being a zipline instructor, or doing extremely specialized crafts.
